My oldest was 4 when my Dad died. We told him that Granddaddy had to go to heaven and help God work on his tractors. I had a little small collection of toy tractors that he knew he wasnt suppose to play with, but he did on several occasions. One of more expensive ones was in the display case, and he pulled it out one da ywhile I was in the shower and dropped it and the wheel came off. Easily fixed, but he didnt know that. As Im drying off I heard the back door close, thinking it was my wife coming home. As I got dressed, I noticed it was very quiet in the house. I called for my son, but he didnt answer. I ran to the door and there he was standing on the porch, looking up. I asked him what he was doing, and he showed me the tractor. He said he was asking God to send Granddaddy back to fix his Daddys tractor.
