Ok. So, I use to run a NH 469. Top speed was 4th gear on my JD 4020, doing thinner 3rd cut. Now, I run a NI 5209 discbine in 5th gear. I can go in 6th but normally do not. I want the hay cut and crimped well. But in any case, watching your video is like watching farm work in slow motion. Seriously, I could not go back to mowing with a haybine at such a slow speed. Have you thought about trading up? Ever use one? I envied those guys for years. It is enjoyable to go around a field quickly and finish in a reasonable amount of time. I almost always mow in the evening. Years ago I dreaded 1st cut hay. No problem now.
