Your look into the future got me to thinking. In my case that can be dangerous. Two guys talking about restoring one of todays modern tractors. First guy "what did you do about getting the computer parts". Second guy I use the mother board out of a computer. Did that work. NO It turned out to be a hard drive. What did you do. I used a mother board out of washing machine. Did It work. Yes till it went into the spin cycle. The tractor took of and I'm still trying to find it.
