Working on a 49 8n governor. It's working fine but it needs maintenance performed on it. Have two issues.
1st. How do you remove the needle bearing without removing the plug on the other side that aligns with it?
2nd. Need to replace lower race on shaft. I've used a punch to try and drive the shaft out of gear with the edges of 18191 (don't know what its called) part between gear and lower race sitting on jaws of vice and it hasn't moved any, only scarred up the piece that's on jaws. Question is.... if I press it out will it bust this piece?
