For me the tube usually is not savable, so I only fill tires by suspending a bucket in the air and letting gravity do the work. The bucket is a 5 gal pail with a small hose out of the bottom and a 1/8 steel tube at the other end which fits in the valve stem. The tractor has to be jacked up.
