I bought a 550 two years ago. It looks like the one in your photo but no computers. It had some monitoring sensors and a box for the tractor but after messing with it a bit I got rid of all that stuff. Too many wires for what it did and you couldn't see the lights well in the bright sun anyway. Common sense and paying attention make it work just fine.
I also removed all the sheet metal from the front center so I could see the pickup reel better and mounted a light down there for evening use when the day runs too long.
I put new pickup teeth on it last year and replaced the bearings on the inner rollers this year. Typical stuff for an older machine. So far it's been a decent baler.
