Second verse. I got the dealer to put a new master cylinder on the tractor, bled the brakes. I asked if they set the free play at 1/8 inch, since that is what the tech manual says. The kid said, " No I just eye balled it". I know the kid has been through diesel school (John Deere to be exact). But if the manual says 1/8 inch then we better measure. Don't know if that is what made them go bad this last time or not. A week or so later. I was tilling and used the left brake for a turn. After that it would just go to the floor. No problem, still had the right brake. Well yesterday planting some wheat/beans. Went to back up into a corner. Planter rolled right into the water way. Neither brake worked. Checked the fluid supply, still over full as the kid put it. So now I am wondering, If the plungers are stuck all the way forward, how do we get them back. If I get the dealer to do the work, I think he will need to get me a different mechanic. Any Thoughts (Please)
