Nothing wrong with having a little luck! I lost my wallet one fall chiseling. The hydraulic hose kept popping out, it must have fell when getting off or on the tractor. ( I don't carry my wallet anymore when in the field) I found the wallet the next spring. Every thing was in it except the cash. I think some turtle must have taken the cash and floated down to the Mississippi river and lost it gambling on a river boat?
Decades ago a log chain fell off the tractor when hauling in corn silage. I found it the next spring laying in a furrow while plowing. I almost buried it.
One spring I found a coulter, cultivator shovel, and something else helping a friend. The coulter I found in a field 8 miles away from where he claimed he lost it! He did not believe me at first.
Over the years I have found horse shoes, arrow heads, and 6-8 tires mounted or rims the spring after a big flood over winter. My crops guy brought one in, he thought I must have lost it, but no!
