I run Firestone Transforce LT tires on my 14,000# bumper pull trailer. Usually have it loaded to close to 11,000#'s not including the trailer which is right at 3000#'s. I run byway speeds with it and have never had a tire failure with it. You have to take into consideration some of the weight is also on the pickup tires so your not caring the full rated amount on the trailer.
