Those are a bit crusty. You might want invest in having them sandblasted, then repaint inside and out with your favourite coating. I've had good luck with automotive epoxy sealer, then paint on the outside. On really rough beads, I've used auto bondo, then primed and painted inside and out. I have one set of rears that was done that way about twelve years ago, still holding up fine. I hate to put shiny new tires on mangy rims if I can avoid it. unc
