When we moved here 15+ years ago, I had a choice between a John Deere 4010 and a Ford 5000. The 5000 was straight off the farm, but seemed in good order. The 4010 had been gone over. What that means, I haven't a clue, but I chose the 4010. Wish I had taken the Ford. Might still have it.
One thing though, I had also gotten a large 3-pt backhoe. The 4010 had a Koyker K-5 loader and filled tires, and still the backhoe was alot of tool. Don't think the Ford could have handled the attachment. ...For what good that 4010 did me, should have skipped the backhoe. Ah, the perfect vision of hindsight. *lol*
