I replaced an IMC HD 6' cutter with a Woods BB720X.
The Woods has much more grass clearance than did the IMC allowing it to clear better. It is also considerably heavier and much more expensive.
The increased grass clearance allows higher ground speed in heavy cover.
I recently replaced a Woods BB840X HD 7' cutter with a Woods BW 15.50, 15' BW. The BW actually cuts better than did the 7' but I'm still sorting it out. It's a different animal.
I once owned a Woods MDS1260 HD mounted 10 1/2' cutter but was not fond of it and sold it a couple of years ago with less than 50 hours on it.
FWIW: Two of the 4 Woods rotary cutters that I have bought new were delivered with incorrect gear boxes resulting in reverse rotation of at least one blade.
