The PIPE pilling's are Cemented into the ground. An 8" hole was drilled 5' down. All PIPE Pilings had a 5/16 cap welded to the end of each piling before they were inserted in to drilled holes. There are Boulders buried in the earth the size of VW Bugs...the pilings are not all lined up. Not a problem...the 12" Square base plates takes care of the alignment. 12" X 12" X 1/2" thick base plates ate welded to yellow pipe pilings. Once shelter is completed a 6" lift of gravel is to be added.
