IF the pto was turnig at 540 and then geared down just count the teeth on both sprockets. That will give you the reduction from PTO speed then just use the ratio of about a third slower gearing for an electric motor. Another words if your current sprockets are 30driven and 10 driver you are at 3 to 1 or reduced by 2/3 so now you would need to either put a jack shaft in for another 3 to 1 or just use about a 60 to the 10. You could have somebody turn it by hand to see how fast you want it then use that speed to figure the drive speed.
