I'm no expert, by any means, running a 24T. I had problems with it not tying randomly, breaking shear pins, etc. First thing I did was to time it. Found that the drive chains had stretched. Replaced the drive chains, timed it, adjusted the tucker fingers, new twine and tension adjustment. In short, went over the whole baler, front to back, top to bottom. Currently on a string of over 1800+ bales without a miss-tie. I'd recommend doing all the adjustments, by the book. When I took the tarp off it last week to bale the first cutting, it took two hand cycles to get a good tie off both knotters. I stretch bungee cords to the twine and trip the knotters while turning it over by hand. Then to the field I went. Just what works for me. Hope this helps.
