I am on my third Scag front mount mower. Run them for 10 years and then either sell outright (the first) or trade in (the second). Briggs on the first, Honda on the second, and a Kawasaki on the third. I have nothing bad to say about any of the engines. I would have gone with a Honda engine on #3 but Scag was no longer offered as an option. The dealer says the Kawasaki is less fussy on oil than some of the others. This Scag most likely will outlive me. Nothing else for me.
