thanks pete, it don't feel like its slower I think 5.5 mph in 3rd. I have a few parts 660's and some don't have the CC on tag. couple weeks ago in installed the 17 gpm pump from a parts unit and put the power steering unit on it. the steering ram started leaking so this morning I stuck the manual drag link back on and plugged the power steering hoses. went to work and holy man the oil got hot in the trans. up to 200 degrees. so then I was thinking the pump must be dead headed. so connected both lines together and she runs normal now . till I get some time to fix that cyl. so I am also thinking the 17 gallon pump must be only for power steering? I don't know. it had a 12 gallon before I changed stuff around. boy sure is nice with power steering.
