If I don't get a hydro, how slow is "slow enough" gearing? Even low reverse in my (synchro)3020 is way too tall.
Other than the snow blower mainly mow, blade, and use it as a loader tractor. Just a 600 foot driveway + yard to blow and blade and around 10 acres to mow (only 1 or two times a year). What are the downsides of a hydrostatic transmission? Other than just seeming less manly (and having to obtain new implements), will a Cat I hitch limit me? I'm guessing I won't find as many used implements?
