About a week ago, was out on a walk around the field with my dog. Got to the top of the hill that leads down to the wet spot when I saw something brown bounce off a tree & hit the ground about 30 - 35 yards in front of me. A red tail swooped down to pick up what I could make out to be a small chuck. Never seen such a thing before. Wanted to invite the hawk over for dinner for getting rid of a common pest around here. I guess he was probably full after that meal anyhow. So I didn't. Lol!
