The 560 final drives and rear axles are what did it in. IH put a lot more power in front of an almost unchanged M rear end set up and they started failing almost right away. We have both an M and a 560 and the similarities are there. However, after the initial launch was over and the tractors were fixed in the field, the dealerships or on the assembly line, the 560 performed very well. But the stigma with the series stayed with it for years to come. We have had ours since 1971, does everything we ask it to do.
