I went and looked and no Eagles. Does your case use an apron chain for the top feedroll? The early 550's did. Mine is the later version with fedrolls. The sheet metal on the Case reminds me more of the 55 IH's. I have not researched the IH machines enough to get which models were made what years. I know they started with the 50,55,550 and finally the 555 which ended in the mid to late 70's. I wonder what the history of the Case is. They are for sure the same machine. Most of the castings would have been sand cast so adding the Eagle would have been easy. Did Case buy kit's from IH and then assemble them? I think there was also some crosover between Fox and Oliver on choppers. Tom
