Showcrop - We have a company here in Southern Illinois that had to shut down over this virus. The head of the company has already died in a St. Louis hospital. The workers are in close contact, I guess similar to what we are seeing in the meat packing industry. These workers are scattered all over our community, and naturally have to get out and mingle with everyone in order to buy food and essentials. My son has rental property, and a couple who rent from him work at this company and are sick and have tested positive. My grandson is asthmatic. Should I be mildly concerned? Hey - anyone can wear a mask - it takes a MAN to fight the virus. Or a grandson. I'm not wringing my hands, but I am washing them often.
We originally thought we were "rural" and "safe". Maybe even "privileged".
