Hey guys. I have a 53 SH that I'm curious about the front axle pivot grease point. Right in the very center there is a hole there on both top and bottom of the axle tube that goes directly to the front end pivot. Page 28 in the operators manual shows that as a lube point for grease. Now neither hole in that axle tube is threaded so what was the setup on that to get a grease fitting there? Or was it there to put a few pumps of oil into? I know it seems like such a minor thing but I love tinkering and doing maintenance on this knowing it very well could be around another 67 years!
