I didn't see it until the next round. Water was shooting up at least 20 ft. I called the owner who lived there. He couldn't find the shut off, and couldn't find the meter in the street. He had to call the water dept. Mean while water is shooting in the air. After about a 1/2 hour the water is off. About all I could say is I'm sorry. If he had the pipe marked, and I cut it off I would feel somewhat responsible. I have cut my share of pipes off in my 25 or so years. The worst was a large iron pipe I broke the valve off, disking in an old tomato field. The water company came out and couldn't find the shut off. I guess they finally did. The field is full of houses now Stan
