Cemeteries are a thing to be careful in. Our mini van was dragging in center crown in the road in our local cemetery. I told the rest of the board of directories that I was going to cut the ridge out,everyone said that was fine and just do it when I thought it would be best. I waited till June(way after Memorial Day)to take the tractor and blade and cut the sod out of the road and hauled it off with the loader. You would have thought I pushed over all of the head stones. After two months the grass was growing back in the center again but the road was flat.(ten years from now it will need to be done again) One lady really was way out there complaining because there was no grass growing on her husbands grave,he had been buried 3 weeks before and you could see the seed on the grave. I should add that here all of the money is raised by the board, and except one load of rock per year donated by the county road district. The board does almost all of the labor(except mow the grass) Ever seen a casket float out of the ground? we have. Its all fun and games till some old lady twists an ankle :)
