I am just East of you. (Onondaga county). For years we have been told that the county property taxes basically fund the state mandated social services and the county takes in enough sales tax to fund all its other operating costs. (Hiway, sheriff, jail, courts , parks, DA, etc) . I am sure they will be way short due to the shutdown and shopping centers, restaurants and other business places closed and with the price of gas down and gas use down they will take in a lot less tax there too. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
