I m in south ga and hay a Bermuda grass patch that is overgrown with volunteer winter wheat. People here call it different names. It s headed out but not dried back yet. Need to clean up the field to grow grass. Winters have been mild, so not much opportunity for burning off...not much dormancy in the grass to apply herbicide either. I ve cut it but am wondering how green I can bale it if feeding within a month? I took a soil sample and levels are low. Burn it or try and bale it? Not my land but helping a friend try and make productive.
