I�m from northeast Arkansas and my cousin and I found several arrowheads and quite a lot of shards of pottery on the sand hill on the 40 where Mom and Dad lived when I was born. Later in life, my wife found some tiny (⅝�) long arrowheads that we thought were �bird points�. Family stories were that the sand hill had been the site of an Indian village in the past. My Ag teacher in high school had a sizable collection. Not uncommon in NE Arkansas and SE Missouri.
