I can't argue with any of your points about the economy tanking. Somehow I would like to believe that life and death would trump (no pun intended) dollars and cents. Right now, the health issue has obviously taken over as the #1 concern. The simplest and easiest control of this pandemic is of course the physical distancing and associated restrictions and then hope for the best with science and medicine after that. One thing for sure, I'm not sure of your age but for me at 74, I don't think I'm going to outlive the negative effects of this even if I live to a ripe old age.
