I am the first to complain about people buying items not manufactured in the US.
Cars, pickups, can openers etc. I honestly can justify buying a $20k tractor to do my piddily little stuff. In my humble opinion the orange as well as the green tractor companies sell you a product then you need to buy their lubricants and their highly, highly inflated parts and service to keep it running. Like buying a home or auto it s only so many $ a month. If you need it for your profession or you can afford it that is your decision.
I am fairly mechanical and am retired. I enjoy this old grey tractor. It is a 55 hp with a FEL that I gambled on. Bought it for cheap and have very little money in it. If tractor dealers don t approve, I don t care even a little bit. If it stops running I will probably go buy another one.
Tractors from India sold by John Deere dealerships are ok? I don t really get it. Import tax I guess.
