SV does the VIN on that truck start with a 3 or a 1? The 3 indicates It was built in Mexico, a 1 would have been built in the US. I have a '98.5 24v 3500 with the NP4500 tranny. Pretty sure mine was built in Mexico. Gotta go look if it is a "53". Previous owner let it freeze and popped a plug out behind the turbo and split the casting the oil filter mounts on. I am only into it for less than $1500 and have replaced the lift pump already. But it is gonna need 6 tires to pass inspection.
My '04 Dodge Interpid VIN starts with a 2 so it was built in Canada. Also 2 '96 2500s ClubCabs 4x2 and 4x4 with the V10 both 3s.
