the round cover on the right side, under the brake pedals, is the main hydraulic filter. the 1453 filter on the left by the starter is also a hydraulic filter. 2 of my 656 hydros have the 1453 filter, and one doesn't. the linkage problem that janicholson mentioned can be examined by taking the top link plate off. one of mine has the issue, after using a post pounder on the 3pt. but on mine, the 3pt went all the way to the top and stayed there- won't go down unless the tractor is shut off for several hours.
