New calf on the hobby farm here. Born early last Thursday morning. Not super cold but in the teens with a cold Northwester blowing out in the open so I was glad it happened in the cattle shelter. My back is still recovering from wrestling enough corral panels in place to confine the cow and calf for a few days while they get to know each other without the rest of the herd bothering them. Interesting coloured calf from a red bull and a black cow.
