While it may make us feel good to look negatively at the fancy farmer for the most part the fancy farmer has a pretty good handle on his finances. At least around here late model repo's seldom happen and the dealers/parent companies learned their lesson from the 1980's and do not normally announce repo's to the unsuspecting public. Most dealers here have been multi-location for quite a while so if the company takes something back it gets moved to another location to help mask its origin. Sure, I wish I could afford new but my circumstances do not allow for that and I find ways to be happy without the new equipment. Should things improve for me financially I'd rather just purchase a few vintage pieces that caught my eye when companies used to send out their product line brochures from the 1960's and 1970's.
