Part of the reason our illustrious leaders came up with the "move over law". I don't know if people are in a hurry, just too selfish to think, or what? My young bride had no license when we married. So, it was up to me and my poor first car to try to teach her to drive. I instructed her to give any piece of equipment lots of room. Whether it's a tow truck, road crews working, farm equipment, or even just a tractor trailer, they need room to operate and/or stop. I told her regardless of the light at an intersection, give lots of room to a tractor trailer. I could go on and on.
I believe drivers should get simulator time to get an appreciation for possibilities with machinery they are clueless about.
