Chrysler data is stored in a cloud with the right set up you can communicate with your cell phone in fact my Chrysler mechanic bud links up just that way... Basically you are never connected directly to the car other than a dongle the info goes to a cloud then transmitted back to your remote device "Beam me up Scotty"
