I have a 2008 ford f 250 HD 4x4 . The engine is getting tired. What if any other ford gasoline engines are a direct bolt in as to bell housing. Truck has a strong automatic transmission. Thanks to all. I would consider another 5.4 if low milage , perhaps from a car? I call this truck my redneck special with new mudgrip studded tires , and large brush guard on front. Thinking maybe I should just sell as I am 75, too to be out in the mud and snow!!
