B The biggest problem with those carbs is the hidden passage at the bottom of the carb stem. Take a brass plug out and directly across from it is a passage that plugs with rust. That the reason you have no adjustment when turning the needles( usually the idle needle/outside needle on the carb) or you might need to pull the choke out some to make it run good.
