I get it now and then. Mostly rich food/drink related. 800 mg of Tylenol (doc said it was OK) takes the edge off. Real Cranberry or Dark Cherry juice (the 100% stuff, and not "coctails" of other juices) help reduce the uric acids. Also, keep really hydrated to flush the acids.
When it flares up again, really analyze your diet for the past 3-4 days, and start to learn your unique triggers. Often when I travel for work, too much alcohol & 18 oz steaks seem to be my issue.
