I would agree with Jim. It's a broadcast spreader and not real suitable for spreading manure unless it is very dry and fairly fine. Otherwise it will clog. There is no agitator in the hopper that I can see to keep material moving and not much of an incline to the hopper bottom so anything you put in it would need to be free flowing. That would be seed and fertilizer. Even lime I think would clump and stop coming out unless it was pelletized. I have used something similar to plant hayseed and spread fertilizer in small fields where bigger is NOT better.
