We have a neighbor that used to put one T-post about every 100 foot of fence, 2-wire fence. When he got serious, he had one every 50 foot. Then someone helped put up a bit better fence with a post every 20 foot or so, but the wire was actually tight that time. However, newest fence is only 3 sections of wire, so cows figured out if they couldn't go over it, they'd go through it! He has a fencer on it now, which helps, but cows still both go over and through his fence. Far as I know, it hasn't been tightened since installed over 4 years ago! :shock:
