The first CAR I bought was a '51 Olds Rocket V8 Auto, 2 door sedan, when I arrived at Altus AFB just out of tech school in Biloxi. A running dude. Growing up, a guy down the street had a '49 4 door Rocket V8 and ripped up and down the streets like there was no tomorrow. I could have built a tire from the rubber he left in front of my house, being on a corner and the corner was just an excuse to take it hard, turning right and letting go with the right rear tire.
