Wife and I used to have news and weather on half the day as background noise. Local news, not the opinion channels they call cable news.
Past few years the weather channels hardly ever have any weather, and all the news even local seems to just be opinion so we drifted away from it.
Have metv and H&I on most of the time for background noise.
Some of the past contagious disease outbreaks turned out to be not much of anything here in the USA. Hopefully that trend continues. Some time it won�t.
