Where do you think the used ones come from? They didn't just sprout in the cabbage patch. They were all new at some point. Someone has to buy the new tractor so that you can buy the used one.
If everybody just stuck with what they knew for fear of the new technology, we would still be beating the ground with a tree root to loosen up the dirt enough to plant a seed.
