My uncle ran a couple of tractors on LP. He had a house LP tank with axles welded under it that he drug everywhere. Even to town. With today’s regulations I bet having an LP tractor that did much field work would be a pain. That one would have worked a plenty loading out manure. Those tricycle fronts were so handy in any kind of mud. When I first started farming my loader tractor was a Farmall M with a trip loader. Heaven help you if that front end found a soft spot with the bucket full. Those two tires would turn into one tire that never rolled pretty quick. Imagine how disappointed I was when the mud scraper between the front tires wasn’t the miracle I hoped for. Just when I think I’m poor I remember I have three loader tractors with cabs on them now.
