Maybe , That might be all well and fine , BUT when the big boys are pushing to get things done on a tight year and there BIG fancy new TECH drop kicks them and Others are having problems at the same time ya only have somany warm bodys to come to your aid and IF the problem you having with yours and others with the same piece is having the vary same problem and the parts depot does not have any pieces and parts on hand to make your fancy high tech tonka toy go your tonka toy is DOA . There is one of them thar fancy new I H tractors setting at the dealer now and has been for well over a year maybe two that neither the dealer and his highly trained staff plus the factory boy have been able to figure out what is going on with the trans mission . NOW where as on the OLD stuff that tractor would be back up and making dust in a couple days with a complete trans rebuild . Just like the issue with the traction control and anti lock brake issue on the wifes car . The deal told me after his scan tool told him that it needed this here new module and all would be well again . Ok fine how much is it MY COST and i'll stuff it in . Ah no you can do that your self as it has to be programmed once it is install Ok fine HOW MUCH , well i can get the Module warranted and if you give me 175 bucks we will do the work . Fine do it , ok this will take a couple days to get the part in i'll call ya . He calls i take the car in and he says it will take about three hours , fine i'll wait and talk with a couple of my old buddy's . Five hour into the job he comes out and says Ah we have a problem and we have to order in this other piece and i am going to give you a Cherokee to drive for a couple days The couple days turned into three weeks , now had that been a tractor today 99& of the dealers would not just bring you another tractor to use because they don't have loners . Something that i did offer while i was still fixen full time , may not be as big but it was a tractor . One of my old customers that was a small dairy farmer hit the big time with the OIL and GAS thing and received a big enough cash in fist payment that he was able to pay off the farm buy a fancy new Dodge/Ram one ton four door diesel and one brand new tractor with cab and all the bells and whistles and a loader , That one turned in to Junk with nothing but unfixable problems one after the other and the more they worked on it the more it broke down , when the transmission went for the forth time the parts needed to repair it were on BACK ORDER and NO date posted as to when they would be able to get the parts . Well he needed a loader tractor to feed with so he was forced to up grade to a newer one for more money , Three weeks into the new one and the problems started and here we go again spending more time at the dealer then on the farm . I found him a loader to put on his 12000 plus hour 756 and that is what he has been usen ,
