Flembo ..... yes, bamboo "hardwood type" flooring was used quite a bit a number of years back, not sure how common it is anymore. I has adhesive resins which are used in the manufacturing process and as a result, it was pretty tough on saw blades I heard. Not sure if it was the resin or the bamboo fibers. I did some Googling, it's still around and like most products of any type, there are positives and negatives ..... see below. I don't like the negative about gases being given off from the resin.
