Too many brokers like to play games like that. They'll roll the dice hoping they can find someone to take the load, and if they can't, oh well. Worse is they'll find someone, the driver will show up, take one look, and "Not enough money." The broker isn't going to pony up and cover the difference. You either cough up the extra or start over with someone else.
Someone gave me this line of BS that brokers are trying to drum up repeat business... Some may well be, but there are a lot of fish in the sea and you only need to sucker them once. It's VERY easy to change business names too, so once you pi$$ off enough people, you just change your name and start over.
