In 69 there was a 7 inch. I told the mechanics at Doan and Decker that I was driving down town for restaurant food, if they wanted to come. 2 said sure (as a joke!!) I was driving a 1960 Saab 3 cylinder 2 stroke car with 5.00 16 tires on it. It was no issue at all. we drove past 50 stuck or abandoned stuck cars in that 1/2 mile. sometimes going into the oncoming lane (no traffic) never spun a tire. They were pickup truck and pinto types. It blew them into a different mindset. It also was a discussion topic when we drove back into the lot on time. Jim
