Seems that for the most part, stuff other than cream rises to the top these days. Self worshiping, self promoting, unkind, thoughtless folks. Run with the dogs or sit on the porch? Safe places? Are we talking old tractors and equipment, or All Star Wrestling posing takes? Wish we could meet some way in person other than a keyboard and a forum where anyone can pose to be anything they want. (Old Man Statement) When farms were small and neighbors needed one another, a person who talked, acted, or treated others like that would be left to fend for themselves. If you can't be trusted, you don't have anything anyone needs. Life also brought into my life wonderfully kind, intelligent, thoughtful, sharing people. They taught me kindness takes more strength, confidence, character, and toughness, than any crude, exclusionary action or comment. Maybe the difference in our treatment of others is that they never had in their life folks like I did. For that I am very sorry. People (like me) walk away from forums because they are no longer good neighbors helping good neighbors. If a majority like crap, it's yours, enjoy it.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity".
